Taishan Nuclear Power Plant is located in Chixi Town, Taishan City, Guangdong Province. It plans to build six pressurized water reactor nuclear power units. The first phase of the project introduces the third generation EPR (European advanced pressurized water reactor) technology to build two nuclear power units with a capacity of 1.75 million kw, which is the largest single capacity nuclear power unit in the world. The project adopts the mode of Sino-foreign cooperation, joint design and joint construction, and realizes comprehensive technology transfer, which creates conditions for improving the level of independence of China's nuclear power, forming its own brand of three-generation nuclear power technology, and realizing the leapfrog development of nuclear power technology. Since the project started in December 2009, our company has provided 11,314 sets of conventional island and BOP instrument control box equipment and DTV system box for Taishan nuclear power Plant.
